Misty: Hi there!

Here's a preview of When you wish upon a Walrein, a episode of the Misty Mermaid-Pokemon series.

Enjoy the preview!

Plot[]

During one of her raids for human things on the surface, Misty Mermaid stumbles upon a musical ballerina. Enchanted by the ballerina (both the trinket and the real thing), Misty suddenly wants nothing more in the world than to be able to dance the ballet, but she has a chat with Princess Tutu [guest star] who becomes her new friend. Later on, after a talk with Princess Tutu, Misty realizes she lacks the "two tails" required to perform the dance properly. As she laments her desire to dance, she meets Gaby, a daft and Derpi-like mermaid who cannot talk human but only in Slowpoke, and Sam-Ollie, her Sharpedo friend, and translator, a pair of best friends not that unlike Misty and Dewgong. Misty tells Gaby of her dream to dance with two tails, and Gaby responds that she, too, has a dream, and hers is to be able to sing normally. Sam-Ollie then tells them about the Magical Walrein who is said to be able to grant them a wish should they be able to brave Killer Crawdaunt Canyon and the Cave of Terror to get to the other side.

Misty, of course, wants to go and drags Ziggy and her Pokemon pals with her. Along the way (and between avoiding various dangers including a moment where Sebastian amazes the Killer Crawdaunts by talking non-stop), Misty befriends a surfer-dude Carracosta named Crusher, Misty and Gaby bond in their alarming similarity of adventurousness. Soon enough they reach their destination and make their wishes to the Magical Walrein.

However, it turns out the Walrein isn't as magical as advertised, and cannot grant them their wishes. Though they are sad, Ariel realizes that what they really wanted, in the end, was to be able to express their inner feelings, which they thought they could only do through dancing ballet (in Misty's case) and singing normal (in Gaby's case).

By the end of the episode, Misty is quick to realize that Gaby never really lacked anything in the first place, despite not having a normal voice and speaking in slowpoke talk, and they help to Walrein cheer up and celebrate what they already have in Daring to Dance.
